I have rollicked, railed and roared around the house for months - trying the very christly last nerve my Dear Wife can muster - as to why we have to move to the Brooks - Medicine Hat constituency so I can legally launch a bloody recall campaign to get that cluck brained Duh-duh-duh Danielle Smith out of the Alberta legislature.

Grrrrr. Happily for my Dear Wife, a move may not be required.

Smiths staggering hubris to blither mindlessly on redneck RW media will eviscerate her credibility outside her base. Her look as a tar-collared lobbyist for Oil & Gas has never been in doubt. However that advocacy plays doesn’t stand a snowballs chance in Hell re the awakened Canadian rage viz the Trump administration.

I believe she has totally misread the provincial and federal mood. She and PP - the Man With The Perfect Slappable Face - are in for hard hard bitter digs.

I’m quite certain she did misread the mood — greatly.

I’m in northern AB, but would help in any way I could. I also believe she’s dangerous, and apparently a tad daft if she thinks these things wouldn’t get reported on. Obviously thinks we are stupid as well, which is infuriating. It’s time this, and a public inquiry is started. It’s time.

Keep on this, Dierdre. This should outrage every Albertan and Canadian. And the UCP, CPC, and Poilievre, specifically, should certainly be called on to publicly denounce it.

Deirdre have you checked out ABResistance.ca? They are looking at recall for 6 UCP mlas.

I’m in touch with them. I’m not in the BMH riding so it would have to be started by someone else — just making sure the word is out that I’ll help once they get it going.

Ahh gotcha. I’d love to do more, but I’m so far away. And in a diehard blue riding.

When and where did Danielle Smith say this? I would like to knownso i can write to RCMP and elections Canada. Also, where did the information come from re Poilievres war room wanting to get a message to the White house. This needs to get out there.

The link to the Breitbart podcast where she said that is in the caption of the screenshot of Ken Boessenkool’s tweet, and the Toronto Star article where the author refers to people close to Poilievre’s war room is also linked within the part that mentions it.

I love the idea of the recall legislation, which I think we should be doing across the province. Do you have any sense whether the fine folks of Brooks-Medicine Hat are seeing the need to act?

Not yet, but maybe once they hear the audio…

A few hundred volunteers from Brooks-Medicine Hat would go a long way — so would a ready candidate if it’s successful. But I do think a ready UCP candidate would go further, politically-speaking.

Hmm, let’s see, under the Canadian Criminal Code, High Treason Is anyone assisting an enemy or Armed Forces engaged in hostilities with Canada. That comes with a life imprisonment.

We also have a law in Canada about Sedition. The definition of sedition is inciting rebellion against the government. That has a punishment of up to 14 years in prison, and they can have their citizenship revoked as they obviously have no loyalty to the country.

I’m thinking it’s about time the RCMP AND the Federal government should be looking at Smith a whole lot more closely, because, as far as I can tell her actions fall under both of those definitions .

You wondered in your article who is pulling Danielle Smith’s strings. Well, after the open letter by 14 oil and gas CEOs and later her parroting the same demands publicly, it should be apparent. Add to that the r-star program, the coal policy and the HMCare scandal one thing we know for sure is that she isn’t working for us. Oh- and did I mention private for profit healthcare delivery. Jessabel!

So you don't use any services that use royalties from Oil and gas? No education, healthcare, infrastructure. Without oil and gas we would be a bereft of electrical generation and a large source of revenue never mind energy and prosperity. She understands economics, but I am shocked how many in AB and Canada do not.

$24 billion in an $80 billion budget? Sure. And if it wasn't for the 2014 downturn, we'd still be sitting at half that. The only reason capital investment was finally paid off is because they shelved new projects that year. Considering we'll be paying for the environmental liabilities, it's more like a loan.

Do you understand where it goes? Take a look around ALBERTAS infrastructure! 75% of hospitals and school are falling apart. Most rural areas don't even have walking clinics. She is cutting and slashing so many social progtams,

Oil, Gas and the UCP. are the biggest benefactors of the industry.
