And seeing that Carney is not breaking as opposed to these "50 countries who are willing to negotiate" shows the power he has over Trump. And then you've got the weak ass PP who is willing to bend over and ...you know the rest.

We will survive her until we can vote her out, and we will elect Carney. Remember every vote matters.

But then you’d have to try and decouple markets from insane policy and that’s not going to happen.

FYI: everybody was so focused on the stock market few people realized that the Bond Market was in dangerous territory. All the red lights were flashing. That's a signal for a Market crash. But who looks at the bond market right?

We escaped this time.

That’s awesome! Thank you :) I listened to an interview with Andrew Coyne the other day and the interviewer asked him what makes a decent column writer. He said “think of your friends — who do you want to spend time with? Bring something to every column that entices them to spend three minutes with you.” I was hoping I do that!

There’s a line in You’ve Got Mail that has always stuck with me; “I like to start my letters to you like we’re already in the middle of a conversation,” and that’s how I try to think of my writing. As a bonus, it’s a reminder to make sure I fill in the blanks if I start directly in the middle of a conversation I’ve been having in my head all day 😏
