I wish them well. A third option, one seemingly based on honest progressive conservative values, is welcome. As is the demise of the UCP.

Mrs Moretta is an opportunist of the worst variety. She has no true interest in serving all Albertans only those who reinforce that tRump like loyalty to extremist policies.

We can honestly say to date she has not done one thing to benefit all Albertans only those who directly employ her.

So let’s congratulate these two gentlemen, wish them the best and ship Mrs Moretta south to “her people”.

This is a wonderful opportunity to have more than one strong voice operating in the best interests of Albertans.

I sure hope Elections Alberta doesn’t appease the Premier.

In the end, it's usually about Danielle Smith.

Her involvement with campus clubs, school boards, right wing think tanks, newspapers, radio shows political parties were mostly self-promotion exercises and never concluded well.

As for progressive conservative values, you have to go back to Lougheed, Clark, Stanfield for inspiration.

The mere prospect of even the PC brand has got Smith twitchy...and I like it. Wouldn't it be ironic if the "legacy" brand was available for actual moderate conservatives to use?

Maybe just call it the Conservative Forward Party or something like that to end the obstructionist legal "argument" Smith is making.

There’s options available for them. Even if they couldn’t resurrect “Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta” specifically, the premier cannot stop them from using another form of it, like Alberta Progressive Conservatives.

This next election cycle should have one driving force and that is to vote strategically to get rid of this traitor… for the sake of AB and for the rest of Canada…. she is not really calling the shots… behind her are the same evil entities that are rumplemangoskin’s puppeteers.

Resurrecting King Peter may be the long game but while there is still time to save the province voting for Mr. Nenshi’s steady hand to right the ship is critical, looking at it from out of the province.
